B11 BUS DETOUR
The B11 detour for the week of April 23-27, from 7:00am until 3:30pm each day (due to the street milling project is as follows:
Via 50th Street, right on 8th Avenue, Left on 52nd Street, left on 20th Avenue.
Because this is a week long detour, NYC Transit has requested the the milling contractor install a sign letting our customers know that the bus will not stop at the locations affected by the road work, saying something like this: DUE TO TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION THE BUS WILL NOT STOP HERE FROM MONDAY, APRIL 23- APRIL 27. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE BUS ON 52NS STREET.

KENSINGTON TRASH MOB
FIRST EVER KENSINGTON TRASH MOB HAPPENING!!!!!
KTM is like a FLASH MOB but more.....
We appear in a flash, pick up some trash, have a little bash (refreshments), then we dash!!!!
Meet at the Kensington (soon to be) Plaza in front of Walgreens, SUNDAY, APRIL 15, at 4:00PPM
First twenty folks will receive a free KTM dayglo t-shirt.
We will break up into groups and clean up Church Avenue from Coney Island Avenue to 36th Street. The more folks that turnout, the quicker it will go.
Please feel free to forward this information to all your friends.
We will regroup at the Plaza for refreshments!!!

MILLING AND PAVING
MONDAY, APRIL 23rd
50th Street between 8th Avenue to 20th Avenue will be reconstructed, starting with milling on Monday, April 23rd.
All milling work should be completed by April 27th.
Traffic will be rerouted for the times the work is being done.
Paving will start within 3 weeks after completion of milling.
No parking signs will be placed one day prior to milling.
Cars that are not moved will be towed and relocated within the area.

CLEAN AND GREEN IN BKLYN
The Parks Dept. is running this program again looking for community volunteers to take charge of local parks or playgrounds to do regular cleaning for a few hours the same day each week. They are looking to identify a "go to" person to train as a VOLUNTEER CREW CHIEF to recrut and supervise volunteers.
